Hello, I’m Anastasia, the founder and creative mind behind SydneyPaperFlowers. A decade ago, with the arrival of my youngest child, I made the bold decision to transition from the corporate world to pursue a more fulfilling path as a stay-at-home mom of two. It was during this transformative period that the seed of SydneyPaperFlowers was planted.
My journey began unexpectedly when a photographer friend approached me for personalized packaging for their prints and digital photos. With no prior experience, I dove headfirst into crafting with paper, relishing the opportunity to create something entirely new from scratch. What started as a fun experiment soon blossomed into a full-fledged business, fuelled by a growing demand from photographers seeking unique packaging solutions.
However, I quickly realized the limitations within the photography industry regarding colour options for packaging. Determined to overcome this hurdle, I ventured into crafting paper decorations for photo shoots, facing new challenges and embracing a steep learning curve along the way. Through trial and error, I honed my skills, discovering that perseverance and practice were the keys to unlocking creativity and success.
As word of mouth spread, my clientele expanded beyond photographers to include brides, event planners, and businesses worldwide. From humble beginnings, SydneyPaperFlowers evolved into a global brand😊(well, I do have clients from all over the world), known for its exquisite paper creations that adorn weddings, parties, and commercial spaces alike.
Today, we specialise in crafting bespoke paper installations for business centres, retail shops, and events, ranging from intricately designed flower walls to towering 3D paper sculptures. Additionally, our newly opened art studio in the heart of Woy Woy (Central Coast, Australia) offers enthusiasts the opportunity to learn the art of paper flower making firsthand through engaging classes and workshops.
